In this training DWAVE staff educates on the intersection of Deaf culture and domestic violence/sexual assault. Experiencing trauma is hard enough but imagine experiencing trauma and being unable to effectively communicate throughout the dv/sa system process.   This training gives participants a taste of the everyday lives of Deaf individuals and what can happen when experiencing dv/sa. This training is typically given to service providers working with Deaf clients.
